World’s best coach, world’s best player
At the conclusion of the Sydney 2000
Olympic Games, Ric Charlesworth had coached
the Australian Women’s Hockey Team,
the Hockeyroos, for eight years and established
himself as arguably Australia’s most successful
ever sporting coach. Gold Medal victories in
Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000), along with
an amazing 85% win/loss record in International
competition put him in a real elite class. |
