Brand Hoff has carved a successful career in Government and Private Industry. He was responsible for the design and development of the Department of Finance's global communications network. As Director Computer Services at the National Library of Australia he was responsible for the introduction of the Australian Bibliographic Network (ABN). In 1981 he left the Government and joined Computer Sciences Australia and established their Commercial Services Division in Canberra. By the mid 80's, he started TOWER Software of which its product TRIM is now installed in over 1000 sites in 32 countries. Brand currently holds a number of directorships and he is also the chairman of THIRI Pty Ltd and the Knowledge Based Economy Board (which advises the Chief Minister and Business Minister of the ACT). |
